NMDOT Transportation Study Process

The NMDOT follows a multi-phased approach during the planning stage of transportation project development as follows:

     Phase A – Initial Evaluation of Alternatives (complete)
     Phase B – Detailed Evaluation of Alternatives (complete)
     Phase C – Environmental Documentation
     Phase D – Preliminary Engineering

Phase A and Phase B are complete, and the contract for the study has expired.  Additional work associated with this study is not planned at this time.
