STUDY MAP
 |
| |
UPCOMING EVENTS |
I-25 Paseo del Norte Interchange
- The NMDOT has initiated the process to implement initial proposed improvements to this interchange. A preferred alternative for the entire project was identified and the upcoming activities will develop the initial construction phases to implement improvements consistent with the preferred alternative. The preferred alternative is Alternative 16.
- Funding for the initial improvements is still being sought. The NMDOT hopes to begin the construction process by mid-year 2013.
North I-25 Freeway Operations Study
- The study is complete. A comprehensive Final Report documenting the detailed evaluation of alternatives along with the identification of recommended proposed improvements for the corridor is available for download from the Project Documents page on the North I-25 Freeway Operations Study website. An Executive Summary is also available for download.
- Note that the results of this study provide the NMDOT and other jurisdictions within the Albuquerque Metro Area with a plan to help guide further development of the North I-25 corridor both from a transportation perspective as well as land development perspective. At this time, specific projects are not yet programmed for implementation. Projects will be planned and programmed by the NMDOT and the Mid-Region Council of Governments as they are identified and funding is available.
